Economy Shipping
For Economy Shipping and Free Economy Shipping, we select the shipping carrier and service based on the package size, weight, destination, and available shipping options.
Orders may ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. All shipments include tracking.

Expedited Shipping

This is a genuine vintage Singer Tucker Attachment (also commonly referred to as a Tuck Marker) - original Singer Part #36583 (SIMANCO 36583) in excellent condition, not a reproduction. This specialized low-shank accessory is designed to create precise, evenly spaced tucks (pintucks) on fabric.

How to Use the Tucker Attachment
- Attach the foot: Secure the #36583 tucker attachment to your machine's low-shank presser bar, replacing the standard presser foot

Adjust settings:
- Use the rear thumbscrew to set the desired width of the tuck you want to sew (adjusting how far the sewing guide sits from the needle)
- Use the front thumbscrew to set the desired space you want between the tucks (adjusting the position of the marking spur)
- Prepare the fabric: Fold the edge of your fabric where the first tuck will go and place the folded edge under the foot, next to the inner sewing guide
- Sew the first tuck: Begin sewing with a straight stitch. The machine will stitch the first tuck, and the spur will simultaneously crease the fabric for the next fold
- Sew subsequent tucks: After sewing the first tuck, take the newly formed tuck and slide its finished fold under the marking guide (the spur/bar at the front). The spur will guide the finished tuck while the machine stitches the next perfectly parallel tuck. Repeat this process to create rows of evenly spaced tucks
