Free Economy Shipping is available on U.S. orders of $45 or more, including APO/FPO addresses. Eligibility is based on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before taxes and shipping charges.
Customers who qualify for free shipping may still choose a paid shipping service at checkout.
Economy Shipping
For Economy Shipping and Free Economy Shipping, we select the shipping carrier and service based on the package size, weight, destination, and available shipping options.
Orders may ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. All shipments include tracking.
Economy Shipping is not necessarily slower than our paid shipping options. Many Economy orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage.
Expedited Shipping
Customers who prefer a specific USPS service can select USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, or Priority Mail Express at checkout.
USPS Priority Mail Express is available on eligible lightweight orders weighing up to one pound. Availability may vary depending on the items ordered.

APO/FPO Shipping

About This Part
This is a genuine original Singer hook arm (also known as a gib hook or gib arm) in excellent used condition — SIMANCO-stamped, bright rust-free finish, not a reproduction. Includes both mounting screws. The hook arm secures the rotating hook assembly in place — a worn, damaged, or incorrect gib is a common cause of thread jams, skipped stitches, and hook timing issues.
For use with Singer hook Part #45827.
Critical Technical Notes
- Interchangeability Warning: Part #45831 is interchangeable with Part #170160, but they require different screws. Do not mix screws between these two part numbers.
- Screw Head Geometry: Part #45831 requires a gib screw with a sloped or angled head to sit flush. Using the wrong screw can cause thread to catch, leading to jams or skipped stitches.
- Finish Check: This part has been inspected for a bright, smooth, rust-free finish — essential to prevent thread snagging during operation.
