How to check your machine's zigzag width: Set your machine to the widest zigzag stitch setting. If it goes to 7mm, this is the correct foot. If it only goes to 5mm, you need a 5mm walking foot instead. If it goes to 9mm, you need a 9mm walking foot.

How to identify top-loading bobbin: If your bobbin drops into the machine from the top (you can see it when you remove the needle plate or bobbin cover), you have a top-loading bobbin case. If your bobbin case slides in from the front, you need a front-loading walking foot instead.
