They feature a greater distance between the presser foot attachment point and the needle plate compared to standard low or high shank machines, measuring approximately 1.25 inches (1¼") or more.
Important Compatibility Notes:
- Standard low or high shank feet are NOT compatible with super high shank machines
- Using inappropriate feet can cause the needle to hit the foot
