IMPORTANT: Read Before Purchasing
This bobbin case is designed for Singer 206, 306, and 319 series swing-needle (zigzag) machines. However, these models can have two different hook assemblies, and you must purchase the correct bobbin case for your specific hook.
How to Identify Which Bobbin Case You Need:
- Tip your machine back and look at the hook assembly with a flashlight or good lighting (no need to disassemble)
- Look for part numbers stamped on the hook assembly
- If part numbers start with 27 → You need THIS bobbin case (Open Front #105032)
- If part numbers start with 17 → You need the Closed Front bobbin case (#173058)

- Works with Hook Part # 276254
- NOT compatible with Hook Part # 173061
- Open front design (no slot in side)

- Singer 206, 206K, 206W (and other factory variants)

Critical Needle Requirement:
All 206/306/319 series machines require specialized 206x13 needles. Using standard 15x1 needles will permanently damage your bobbin case. The 206x13 needle has a shorter point designed specifically for these machines.
About These Machines:
The Singer 206, 306, and 319 are vintage swing-needle (zigzag) machines from the 1950s. The factory suffix letters (K=Scotland, W=USA, M=Italy, D/G=Germany, J=Canada) indicate where the machine was manufactured but do not determine which hook assembly or bobbin case you need.
When in doubt, always check your hook part number before ordering to ensure you get the correct bobbin case for your machine.
