Original vintage Husqvarna Viking Color-Matic Cam A (Brown), also known as the Seam Former A or pattern programmer. This is the removable three-prong style cam used with compatible Viking Color-Matic sewing machines.
OEM Part #: 4115830-01 (documented for Cam A in Viking 6440-era literature)
Documented stitch functions (Brown Cam A):
- Elastic-knit / overlock stitch
- Elastic straight / triple-lock straight stitch
- Ordinary blindstitch
- Elastic blindstitch
Note: These stitch functions are documented for the Brown Cam A in Viking 6440-era literature. Buyers should verify the cam letter, stitch symbols, and three-prong mounting configuration match their original part before ordering.
Compatibility: Designed for use with Husqvarna Viking machines in the 6000/Husqvarna 2000 mechanical family that have the rear three-prong Color-Matic programmer socket. Not compatible with the earlier Husqvarna Automatic 21 cam system or the electronic cassette system used by the Viking 6690.
Important: Brown and White Color-Matic cams with the same letter are maintained as separate listings at CMSS as they may not be identical. If you are looking for the White Cam A, please search our store separately.
