IMPORTANT: High Shank Machines Only
This walking foot is designed ONLY for HIGH SHANK sewing machines. High shank machines have a longer distance from the presser foot holder to the needle plate - approximately 3/4 inch (19mm). If your machine measures approximately 1/2 inch (12-13mm), you need a low shank walking foot instead.
How to measure your shank height: With the presser foot removed, measure from the bottom of the presser foot holder (where the foot attaches) straight down to the needle plate. If it's 3/4 inch (19mm), you have a high shank machine and this foot will fit.
