Economy Shipping
For Economy Shipping and Free Economy Shipping, we select the shipping carrier and service based on the package size, weight, destination, and available shipping options.
Orders may ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. All shipments include tracking.
Economy Shipping is not necessarily slower than our paid shipping options. Many Economy orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage.

This is a genuine vintage Singer Left Toe Cording Foot - original Singer Part #160845 (also marked as SIMANCO 160845) in excellent condition, not a reproduction. This specialized low-shank attachment is designed for inserting cording, piping, or welting, and can also function as a zipper foot.

How to Use the Cording/Welting/Zipper Foot
For Zippers:
- Place your zipper face-down on the fabric edge (or wherever your pattern dictates)
- Attach the left-toe foot (160845) to your machine
- Position the fabric and zipper under the foot so the zipper teeth run along the cut-away right side, allowing the left toe to hold the fabric down right next to the teeth
- Stitch close to the zipper teeth
For Piping or Welting:
- Wrap your cording with a bias strip of fabric to create piping
- Baste the piping to your project fabric
- Attach the left-toe foot (160845)
- Place the project under the foot so the piping fits snugly in the space created by the missing right toe. The left toe keeps consistent pressure on the fabric right next to the cord
- Sew along the base of the piping using the edge of the foot as a guide
