About This Part
This is a genuine original Singer rotating hook body in excellent used condition — SIMANCO-stamped, bright rust-free finish, sharp intact hook point. Not a reproduction. The hook body is the core rotating component of the stitch-forming mechanism — a damaged, dull, or incorrect hook is one of the most common causes of thread shredding, skipped stitches, and timing problems on the Featherweight.
Hook body only. Does not include the gib arm (#45831), loop guard (#45761), bobbin case base (#45752), or bobbin case.
Era & Compatibility
Designed for Singer 221 and 222 Featherweight machines produced between 1934 and 1953. If your machine was produced after the mid-1950s, you may require the later hook body variant, Part #170135 — please verify your production year before ordering.
